Fallen in love…

With low point 9ball on the new table at a friends hall. He installed a Rasson Victory with sub-4” pockets. We played a few racks of high point with MR break box, but the spreads made the games HARD. Even 8ball is hard on this thing (easily harder than a Chinese table).

We switched to low point 9ball, and had a ton of fun. We played 192 in the rack. Rest random. The wide open racks, and the tight pockets were a good balance. I'd love to watch a low-point 9ball event played on this equipment.

Not a fan of the supporting legs on the table, but love the wood of the rails, which are narrower and without the curve that is on Accura, Wolf etc.

Tight and reasonably deep. I hated them for the first hour or so, but once we found the right game and started playing low point, we had a lot of fun. We played 3-point rule, and went for the wing ball and shape on the one... I kept also making the one in the side during the first set, leaving no two ball. So it was trading racks for a while. But once I got it right, could string two or three racks together a couple of times - game on! Played with the owner of this hall, and he's a similar level to myself. Most fun I have had in a while.

what is low point?
One on the spot. No break box.

I suggested the same, these are harder than Chinese tables in my opinion, because you cannot force balls down the rail into the jaw the same way. they just hang.
I guess there, the Chinese table connection is a transitional priority. I think more in terms of minimal miss pool where rail shots should at least go
