Fantasy Shopping at SBE (Valley Forge Hokins Expo) with $10,000.00 to spend

I wish i could make the SBE this year, but due to High Gas Prices

will be confind to the Ranch hearding Sheep.

So I thought it would be fun as the SBE is less than 10 days away from opening, to have a what if question.

All of a sudden you are at the SBE Expo, and that guy from the 1950's TV Show Millionaire come up to you (Michael Anthony) with an envelope containg 100, $100.00 Bills (That is $10,000.00 for Rio Linda California Residents.)

What would you purchase?

I'd buy you your own forum. You could have unlimited identities and post and answer your questions to your hearts content.

well 10k won't get you very far in terms of a dream list.

I would pick up the following.

4 point dennis searing players cue. Ebony points with veneers with the half joint.

A classic tascarella players with rosewood points if they are to be had.

Finally an ed prewitt plain jane. God these are nice.
 
I would try to get a fairly plain Dennis Searing or maybe two. If there is any money left over than I would get a James White plain Jane with ivory joint
 
Let's see.....10K

On my way to SBE I would stop in Atlanta and go to the Hot Dog Construction Company and get three Chicago Dogs with fries and a real Coke, then when I get to Philly I would get myself a real Philly Cheese Steak, some fries and a real Coke.

SO I would have about $ 9,975.00 remaining......

I would go on the hunt for a 4 point Searing and a 4 point Showman, that would leave me about $ $ 75.00 and I would buy a new Tip Tapper..then I would have about $ 70.00 left.

I would return to Atlanta and spend the balance on Three Rum and Cokes(Malibu Rum) and about 3 Chicago Dogs,fries and the rest on Lottery Tickets.
 
I would get a fancy McWorter cue which would leave $2500 maybe. I would then pick up a Murnak case which leaves me with $1600. I would then pick up a plain Jane Blue Grass and a new set of balls for my table and would have enough to eat dinner and watch the pro event.
 
well since its just a dream, I would walk in the door flip Tooth$$$$$$$$2 times for BIG $$$$$$$$$all of it$$$$$$ and then:

I would thake my $40,000 go find a nice Bushka or 2 of them, if I coudnt cover them with the 40 dimes I would go find some Gus Szam's. The only reason I chosw Bushkas over szam's is I have more Szam's and i nee dto round out the collections, I have a cool display plan for these cues so alot of people can see them,

I'd be so giddy with that much $$$$$ in hand :eek: I'd probably forget to buy anything................:D
 
I would spend all $10,000 at the Omega Billiards booth. :D :D :D j/k.

Let's see. I would spend $9800 to buy a Bushka/Szam (I should have kept a couple of them).

With the $200 left, I would spend $100 for the food/beers at the venue.

And for the last $100, I would go down to the pit and sidebet for $5 each (this should last 4 days). :D :D

If I were you. I'd go to The Billiard Encyclopedia booth and drop the whole $10,000. on the new third edition Billiard Encyclopedia.

Professor Cue (TBE)

I would find cues from the following in no particulat order.

Tascarella
Searing
Arthur
Gina
Szamboti
Balabushka
Southwest
Kersenbrock


Test hit them all, and then find Fatboy so I could flip to be able to afford them all. If only 10 g's then then I would probably walk off with 4 cues. or if I lost the flip then hitchhike my back Texas.

You forgot to take out $ for gas... which leaves you in the negatives:o .

I'd order a Diamond Pro 9' cherry table with tournament blue Simonis cloth.

As for cues, I saw one at the Derby last year that was made of all silver and ivory. I can't for the life of me remember who makes it, but yeah, I'd take one of those. I tried searching for it on Google, but to no avail. Help anyone?
