I'd be interested in a couple of the rounds if you wanna break them up by chance.

Funny thing is at one time I made several in a row and broke out like crazy. I quit making cocobolo cues for a few years and then had a customer order one. I tried to get him to change but he insisted so I gave in expecting the worse.

I was real careful and washed real good after working with it and did not have a single problem. I have since made a few more and have also not had any problems breaking out. I don't make several, just about one a year and then leave it alone and I always wash up and change clothes when I get through for the day.

It didn't bother me at first, but now it makes my eyes red and nose run if I don't wear a mask and respirator. It's probably my favorite wood.

Great buy. Those 24 inchers kinda look familiar. Those are easily $25+ each by themselves. The raw squares make up the rest of the dirt cheap price. Everything in the box is pure lagniappe.

I am very tolerant to poisonous plants. When growing up I spent as much time in the woods as possible. I have never had poison ivy or oak or any other skin problems. While all of my friends bodies were immersed in calamine lotion, I was picking poison ivy for bouquets.

Cocobolo is one of the best hitting, solid wood and of coarse it is beautiful on top of it. For over 20 years I could sleep in Cocobolo dust with no problems.

About 5 years ago this started to change. At first, I would fell it in my breathing and coughing. Later I started to get a rash when using it. It now has got to the point that I can't even enjoy looking at it without breaking out.

What a horrible predicament! It has become very frustrating to be an artist that is barred from using the most beautiful colors in his creations.

I think it's like poison Ivy.... no one gets it the first time. The first exposure makes you body just build up a defense to it and the next time you contact it you get it and it tends to get worse every time.

I didn't get it for 2 years of contact and then wow...... rash and itching for 2 weeks....

beautiful wood but.......... good bye

Thank god for Google...
A lagniappe (/ˈlænjæp/ LAN-yap) is a small gift given to a customer by a merchant at the time of a purchase (such as a 13th doughnut when buying a dozen), or more broadly, "something given or obtained gratuitously or by way of good measure.
