Farewell everyone.

Rude Dog

<---Dumb and Dumber
I just struck out but I went down swinging. To all the players trying to improve your game, good luck. Ask questions, take the advice from those that are qualified to give it and practice, practice, practice.

To the players in the I.P.T., good luck. I'll see some of you out there at a tournament some day.

Peace to everyone, John Morton.

what

i don't know you but could you elaborat on your good bye, unless it is meant for people that you know ,in that case it's none of my buiss.thanks

John,

i don't personally know you but i recognize your posts in this forum. I hope you can still share your ideas and thoughts with us.

If you really are permanently on your way out then let me wish you good luck no matter what you do.

You see, this is what I and CUE were talking about. If you had a seperate forum for people to hash out there problems none of this would be taking place. The whole "why was my post deleted" thread could have been moved to a seperate forum and people could of settled there differences there. Now another contributing poster is gone.

Well Dog, you boogied out once before and came back. I hope the same thing happens this time.

I'm not sure what you were talking about above, and so wish you'd elaborate.

Do it again Rude Dog

It is BETTER to have Tried and Failed, than to have been SEATED on the Sidelines, and said I wish I could have Tried...

As a Sign in the Glendale CA YMCA said.....Winners NEVER QUIT, QUITTERS NEVER WIN.

Man you gave it a Try, and can Try Again to make it to the IPT...

Ive been a forum whore for years now and never fully understood the "goodbye threads".
9 times out of 10 the poster returns shortly after anyways. If you are leaving, leave, no need to announce it.
I know I'm a "New Guy" here and will more then likely get flamed for saying this. This isn't directly aimed at Rude Dog as much as it is the numerous "so long" posts from various other forums throughout my posting/lurking history.
Some people just ain't happy unless they have something to complain about.

Rude dog was trying to give me bad rep...he just hit the wrong button....Mr. Wilson, it was just a big misunderstanding.

The problem wasn't that he didn't understand. You'd be surprised how many "reported posts" I get that I suspect are meant as "rep points".

I said he reported it,( eight times! ) he asked me to prove it, I did and he went crazy.

I don't care about his inability to push the right button to leave reputation for someone. I care about his abusive language in public.

John was given more chances to straighten up than anyone.....EVER.

His actions were his alone and he understood very well the consequences of those actions by the existence of this thread.

I let him say his good bye and gave him a 6 month ban. I wass given no choice.

Guys, please understand that I am serious about keeping it civil around here.

Being a Moderator is NO FUN...

What the heck is going on around here?! It seems like there's a Civil War in progress on AzBilliards Discussion Forum today. :(

John, I will miss reading your posts, and I know we will see each other again on the tournament trail. I don't know why you had to go down swinging, though. Those of us who have met you do know that you are a really nice person, sweet as a honey bee. :)

FWIW, I too have pressed one of the REP buttons and experienced the same thing as Rude Dog. The green bar at the bottom of my screen never seemed to be able to go all the way; thus, I'm thinking it can't be my gerbil-driven computer, as I now have DSL. In reading about Rude Dog's experience of inadvertantly sending 8 messages, I too may have sent more than one message in the past. :o

Having said all of the above, Mr. Wilson was put in an awkward position as moderator. Of course, Rude Dog is family here at AzBilliards, but if the moderator overlooked Rude Dog's remarks made in the other thread, it certainly would not give the impression of a level playing field or a level posting field in this case. I think Mr. Wilson was left with no choice but to ban one of my favorite posters, Rude Dog. :(

John, please take care of you and yours. I'm not going to say goodbye to you, but would rather say until we meet again! :)

Here's a picture taken at the 2004 U.S. Open when Rude Dog, shown here on the left, was elected as the AzBilliards representative player, posing here with the Purdman on the right!

MAN's choice...

A man got do what a man got do, cause and consequence, think before you act(or speak) and you will not hurt nobodys feelings, this site is much to fun to loose it, but then again even me myself put up something sad on a tread.
C'mon people, personaly i'm starting to know a lot of people around here and it is to me like a new family, folks like me... Ups and downs, living and learning; hope others pay closer attentions to theyr subjects and we all keep having more good times then bad ones... :( Just an opinion !
