I just struck out but I went down swinging. To all the players trying to improve your game, good luck. Ask questions, take the advice from those that are qualified to give it and practice, practice, practice.
To the players in the I.P.T., good luck. I'll see some of you out there at a tournament some day.
Peace to everyone, John Morton.
What the heck is going on around here?! It seems like there's a Civil War in progress on AzBilliards Discussion Forum today.
John, I will miss reading your posts, and I know we will see each other again on the tournament trail. I don't know why you had to go down swinging, though. Those of us who have met you do know that you are a really nice person, sweet as a honey bee.
FWIW, I too have pressed one of the REP buttons and experienced the same thing as Rude Dog. The green bar at the bottom of my screen never seemed to be able to go all the way; thus, I'm thinking it can't be my gerbil-driven computer, as I now have DSL. In reading about Rude Dog's experience of inadvertantly sending 8 messages, I too may have sent more than one message in the past.
Having said all of the above, Mr. Wilson was put in an awkward position as moderator. Of course, Rude Dog is family here at AzBilliards, but if the moderator overlooked Rude Dog's remarks made in the other thread, it certainly would not give the impression of a level playing field or a level posting field in this case. I think Mr. Wilson was left with no choice but to ban one of my favorite posters, Rude Dog.
John, please take care of you and yours. I'm not going to say goodbye to you, but would rather say until we meet again!
Here's a picture taken at the 2004 U.S. Open when Rude Dog, shown here on the left, was elected as the AzBilliards representative player, posing here with the Purdman on the right!
