Lewis has been kind enough to offer me the chance to do the cue repair at the fast eddies. i will try to be there mid day friday in case anyone needs somthing done before the tournament. i will be doing tips, ferrules, ivory ferrules, tenon replacement, jump/break phenolic ferrules, linen wraps, cleaning wraps, and shaft cleaning and conditioning. looking foward to seeing everyone there.

Thanks again Ray. I'm a bit fired up over this one. I've been playing a bit lately and may even play in this one myself depending on the field. Getting married next week has me a bit,,,, jumpy too.

Yeah i know it aint that much farther than houston, but its mostly a money thing. Ive got an upcoming wedding to pay for. So i guess you can blame the old ball and chain for this on too:)

Well me and my road partner made it down here. We left Fort Worth around 1:10pm and got here right around 4:00pm... so around 3 hours all told... not too shabby. I will say to watch out for those speed traps... lots of little towns where the speed limit drops from 70 to 40 in the space of a few hundred yards.

Comfort Suites here looks really nice and is just stone's throw away from Fast Eddie's. Free Wi-Fi and free breakfast served from 6:00am to 10:00am!

We'll see if that ring game makes tonight... hopefully it does!
