I do kind of agree with you... if Fast Larry could tone it down some we would have a very spicy Forum here! Fast Larry seems like he does know a lot of stuff related to pool! I guess its really up to the AzHousePro!

I agree with the rest of you. Fast Larry, through his posts, demonstrated a firm grip on pool, its theory, and its history. He was often informative and insightful. It is a shame that he was argumentative with and disrespectful to so many, because I, for the most part, liked having him on the forum. If he were to return in a civil rather than abrasive manner, I'd be among the first to say welcome back, Fast Larry.

I for one think Fast Larry's only crime was to piss off the wannabe's. When people let him alone his posts were intertaining. I have noticed on this forum that most of the people who complain never really bring anything of there own to the table they just like to bring other peole down. I,ve never seen FL play and don't know anything about him but some of what he said when he wasn't dicking with the cry babies made sense.

I like to read everyones posts untill they get too personal. Fast Larry's only crime was to fight back and not know what he was up against. They started with him and when he fought back they cried like babies. Soon Mark will stop posting and then the forum will be the way they like it. Then we can have the same boring posts. " How would you do this " or "how would you do that "
"How do you like my new stick" There is nothing wrong with these posts. But they are boring and when I see them I avoid them.

I get the feeling there is a cookie club on this forum and some people are making the wrong cookies. There are certain people on this forum that you can look at there last 15 posts and they are just bashing others. they have nothing to offer. Oh and I found know matter how rude you are when you post, if you just put IMHO after what you write, that makes it all OK

No, FL's only crime was being a fair bit insane. His pool / trick shot ability aside, since I have no means by which to a affirm or deny it, his ego is insatiable and his arrogance out paces anybody elses. He either pick fights or has such a hair trigger he can't keep out of them. He is not merely standing up for himself, I can respect that, he is totally uncompromising, never presents anything as his opinion but always as a given fact. and is just an abrasive person; in short he's an arrogant a$$hole. Even if he was more civil I wouldn't read his posts anyway because he is too long winded, but it is the disruption he CAUSES that is the problem.
Fortunately, AZBilliards and CCB can ban him and it was entirely appropriate. If only he could be banned from RSB where I also frequent. I just have my software filter him (in about 20 personas) and a few people who continue to converse with him out of my list of posts as the software reads them, but it is still a pain.

Now for a serious question. I agree that FL is (was?) a disruptive influence on RSB (I haven't read that group for months now, it got too stupid imo). I now see the AZB poster named Mark Tadd as being almost as disruptive. They are both obsessive about posting. I haven't checked, but has not this Mark Tadd account been our #1 poster over the last few weeks ? And he hasn't been here that long ...

Let me point something out to you WW so that you and everyone else gets this perfectly clear. If Mike wants to kick me off, it's his prerogative, but what you and certain others only see is when I nail someone to the wall and then pulverize them into dust particles and then it's MY fault. Go back on THAT SAME THREAD, as well as others, and look where the first mention of a rodent or animal comes out of someone's mouth, that is unless HE doesn't go back and delete it. Let's see if there's a time and date stamp for last edit on that post that follows this one. Here's a hint WW...it's post #74. It's there...it always is in reference to me, and then I finish it off, and I guarantee you that it's going to happen the next time also. So maybe you're finger is pointing in the wrong direction or it's crooked.
BTW, I didn't want to see FL go anyway. When he was left alone he imparted a lot of good things.

You are mistaken. It is all Yapping Wolf's fault. Fast had to defend himself, even on RSB. Larry has his own forum now but the bozo Yapping Wolf is constantly trying to bash in there to bust up Larry's forum.

Only this forum is too slow!!!!!!!!! That may be the real reason Larry was kicked off LOL - the server couldn't handle him - it was getting ready to blow back then - just a matter of time.

Anyway, so what if a few people are a little insane? Aren't we all/especially pool players and musicians? We need a little bit of insanity here, even if a person is a little too insane. There are more than just a few on here who are just a little more that slightly insane in case you haven't noticed who have the exact same problems as Larry, if NOT WORSE. Go read some of the postings on cuemakers if you don't get what I am talking about. Violence & threats are part of the norm here, unless it is coming from the Fast One. You guys know who I am talking about. One of them is a Fast Larry hater. Why Mike lets them continue to make physical threats on this forum is beyond me. It seems to be okay because this person comes back on in a few days and apologizes for himself after he sobers up and realizes what he has done. Maybe that's the ticket: FL never apologized. Go figure. It is not my forum, so WTF.

I think he's OCD.

In his defense, he's in the kind of business where self-promotion is a way of life. In fact, it's a job. I know others who do the same thing, to attract attention to get "gigs". This seems like egomania to us, but to them it's "advertising".

He is an enignma. Every once in a while he would surprise me with his general education. I think he's a history buff.

Hey piggy, I will be in Asia for about 4 months hopefully playing daily seeing if I can get back to my old level. Thailand, China and either Taiwan or Phillipines possibly. Then I'm off to the states for Vegas BCA, VNEA, prob Reno and as many other comps as possible. Then prob back to UK and hoping to play in World Championship qualifiers in Cardif in early June. When it gets a bit closer to May I will post my US plans, would be good to meet up with some guys on here. Meanwhile more than happy to hook up with any Asian based players, but only places I am def going to at the moment is Thailand, Shanghai and Beijing.
