That isnt the case with me, I never bet the rent $$$(cept once) but I remembered the days when I would go to tournments and see Tooth, Cardone, and no one knew who I was, i layed low and watched and learned-knowing someday I would be in their world, I dont play like them but I learned how to move into that world. So I have no dislike for Tooth infact he inspired me, ALOT 23 years later I remember that.
See thats where the jealous people harm themselfs by hating the guys who they want to be like weather they admit it or not. Guys who hate me for the most part would love to be in my spot-not all but some. So hating just cuts off your chance of growing-thats my point, if you dont want self improvment then its cool i wont judge that either. me i like self improvment, $$, friends, intellect-everything but learning to spell.
Back to the story, I saw Tooth and Cardone talking shit on the rail at the final table in Reno in 85-Seigal and Earl were playing I think ???, Tooth busted out 10 dimes, then 10 more , then 10 more-i never saw that much $$$ in my whole life, my parents never made that in a year back then and it was walking around $$ for Tooth, he was bragging about his silk socks, I was 18. And knew then I wanted to be there someday. I might have had $100-$150 in my pocket. Tooth was getting loud the TD(Scott I think) was getting pissed, Cardone was laughing-I wanted so much to be a part of that group of guys. When I said something they both kinda ignored me for the most part, they acknoleged me but I was green so it didnt bother me. But I said when (NOT IF-BUT WHEN) I'm in their spot someday, I wouldnt ignore anyone(to the best of my ability, i acknologe everyone out of respect for them-not to make myself feel good), dont get me wrong I have all the respect for Cardone and Tooth and understand why they didnt say a word to me, But I said I wouldnt be like that and ignore someone thats carring lite-never underesmiate anyone ever(again i'm not knocking them-I admire them), I worked my ass off to get into their world. Then when I did Tooth ran off
. So there is another edition into the life of Fatboy. As for the haters, my piece of advice is hating might make you feel good for a few minutes but will close the door to many things later in life. I dont expect everyone to like me-i'm not looking for that. But I am willing to offer myself to help them enjoy a better life. I get alot of satifaction from helping people, am I full of my self? no. I cant help everyone-i'll try to as a nice jesture with no expectitation in return. Whats wrong with that, You have never seen me ever say look what I did for this guy or that guy-its rare if I did, and i never name names. I like to teach little kids how to high-5, something they will awalys remember, or buy girls tattoos. A piece of me indirectly is with them for ever. So when I sit alone I know what I did and thats important to me. its not being selfish.

Here is why Tooth is the BIG favorite: the rolls will even themself out over time like flipping a coin, but you have to land on the board to stay in the game, if you roll the ball to hard or soft and go off the board the incomming guy just has to land on the board to win. or vice-versa if the first guy stays on the board and you go last and roll off you lose, Cliff was all over the place, he would come short, go long as in over the rail onto the floor. Tooth rarely went off the board and if he did it may have been because he wanted to. I could probably land on the board 75% of the time with an hours practice. Tooth can land on the board probably 95% of the time, so i'm giving up 20% because I cant stay on the board?, now using a cue would even it out a little.
Tooth only wanted to roll the ball by hand, But bare handed it takes some practice to get on the board, I watched Cliff who is a awesome player. But he was over the place trying to get the ball to land in ANY number. This is why its a good game that looks fair but is a game of skill, if you can get on the board 97/100 and Tooth gets on 99/100 your gonna hate it-like the games in a casino 2%-6% edge is all you need to do real good.
Tooth had 3 guys and himself rolling so every 33 games he had 100 rolls against his 33 with a 10% edge because he can play it and I watched him stay on the board thats BIG.
It looks like 3 card Monte, but the reality is if it was an even game why was he so fired up to get as many people rolling as possible? Tooth is smart.
Perhaps this might be considered knocking his action, I look at it like this. I'm just explaining how anyone can have a big edge in this game. now if I had a board and practice then sure there might be a game, but I dont, I had a quarter and someone to flip it that was my game that night.

I remember someone here once said I was a weak B player hobbiest, I'm glad that some people look me like that, and for Tooth I hope he gets alot of people to play keno with him. We all got a angle, dont we?
I just talked to Bucktooth a few minutes ago he will be at the tournament area after he visits with some out of town friends. This will be something to see the Master OF Disaster at which might be his last performance.. Bucktooth said to say even if he plays or not God Bless everybody life is beautiful and to short its hard to play when your eyes go...
