Go Generic....

Magic Erasers are made from MELAMINE-FOAM

on ebay you can find cheap magic erasers that are the exact same thing!! SEARCH Melamine foam erasers.....

I got a box of 50 for under $10, they are the same product but seem to be a little "Less" flexable..and made in china .. GREAT FOR CLEANING ANYTHING including shafts!!

I found these on ebay a few years back, bought 2 boxes of a 100 each...I still have enough til probably 2020 :D
They work really great with denatured alchol. Using these, you discover how dirty people's hands really are:yikes:
Thanks Tommy for discovering these and letting everyone know about it.

Bless you Father Melamine, however Mr. Clean used to play one pocket at The Fun Center in Denver back in the 60's.
I think he was using it then because his cues were really clean
He probably used that stuff on everything including his pool cues><
This pic of Mr. Clean taken in the 60's, actually depicting him on the Magic Eraser box should be proof.

"Toupee" as he was called by the locals, had some gamble too and he usually cleaned up. Dirty pool shafts was the initial reason he invented the ME.

The whisk broom had a similar genesis. Little known factoid, but this other handy little household cleaning device was actually invented by a home plate umpire. :grin-square:

He took the clean shaft thing to a new level, definitely an innovator.
If you couldn't tell from the TV commercials, he had a mean streak.
One time he took a guy out just for using Windex on a butt plate.

Good for you Tommy. Or us too.

Myself and probably quite a few thousand others are glad that you figured it out.

Ok...ok....Tommy, how much money do you want all of us to send you.....or would a few Mr Clean T-Shirts suffice? How about a pool playing Mr. Clean?
