I like most any table that is assembled well. The commercial models are great but the home models are usually prettier. Alot of serious players are adamant about having a commercial table because thats what the pros use and that is where most tournaments are played, but the quality house tables (when put together carefully) play very, very nicely too. Also, it's easier, usually, to talk the wife into a nice looking home table.
In my opinion, even a commercial table that is not tuned up decently doesn't play very well.
