I see many are in love with Ultraskins. But where do you get them without having to order 10 at a time?
Nice price, too, $6If you don't need to order 10 at a time, I'd suggest Cue Components. They have all 3 colors (ivory, black, fire) but most folks seem to like the ivory:
I cannot claim a favorite yet and have not tried a G2, but I'm having a very positive experience with a Recoil medium on one of their 12.4mm CF shafts. I've played for hours with it so far, even broke a few times, and have not had to scuff or shape it. I'm also enjoying a Taom Fusion on a JFlowers cue and a Caiden Fighter soft on a Rhino CF shaft. All three are on different cues, so no direct comparisons, but everything the Recoil seems to be bringing to the game makes it a frontrunner for me, so far.I have been trying various tips lately, and so far my favorite tip is the Ultrskin Ivory for a playing tip.
Bulletproof Recoil is currently my second favorite.
Bought an Action Elite - the cheap ash one with an Everest medium. The stick became Cue 1 and the tip along with it. Stiffened up considerably; playing like a WB now. Never flared.I'm not sure how they would compare the Tiger Everest to the G2 . I purchased a new to me pool cue that had a G2 tip on it , after I got used to it I totally enjoy playing with that cue and tip combination as I was getting better English and control .
Granted this sounds a bit far fetched but true just how much I enjoy playing with my Mike Gulyassy cue !
That’s my choice. For near 20 years, Tiger Sniper.
I'll have one on a Revo in about a week. It had a Victory medium on it and will have a soft when it gets back from Predator. I have no complaints with the medium, just liked the Hybrid Max and Fusion better on a Revo so far.I must be using the worst tip ever since no one has mentioned Predator Victory Soft.
