No, he told me if I could post up 2K, I could play a set for it even. I went home and got the cash and posted up then he tried telling everyone he agreed to me giving him the 7. Everyone in the poolroom heard him say that if I post up 2K, I could play a set even for it but he said that he needed the 7. I can't beat him with the 7 and the game has always been the call 8 between us....

I spoke to him for a little while and his health seems good and I reminded him that we have a 12-5, $$$ one pocket match to finish and he just grinned and he changed the subject and we talked about other stuff. Well mostly, he and I just listened to Cavalier talk our ears off.

Nick - I'll play you some even. If you win I get a bowl of your mamma's gumbo. If I win I get a lifetime supply of your mamma's gumbo.
That seems fair to me. If you want to adjust the amount of gumbo I get if I lose, feel free (won't play for less than a bowl, though).

First place was almost as much as that 148 man tournament in Olathe!!(If you bought yourself in the auction) Not bad for 60 players and a weekends work.
Congrats to James Walden!! The old man still has it!
