Fedor Mosconi cup

it wouldn't be completely without controversy. and finland was actually with the axis 41-44 because soviet had attacked them.

how about the pope cup? catholic vs protestant countries.
Yeah I think you’re right, if I’m using the height of Nazi Germany as the marker than Mika has to jump to team Axis. He’s replaced by Pagulayan on the Allied team.

That's why the smart money is on Europe. The bookies are making the Americans about a 2:1 underdog. I guess there is enough pro-American money coming in to keep that line.

If we are realistic, I would put US as a 3:1 or 3.5:1, and for points gained, I'd say 60%. So if the win is 11, US would get to 6 or 7 as a probable result.

How is that??? The Americans suck, the players that live here now are better because the European players are better period.

Has nothing to do with living here, if that were the case the Americans would be better

He may be talking about the European players overall being better from playing in the US over the past 20 years. If you look at the history of pool, the US dominated till the Philippines got their nose in, then slowly as players learned the game it became more and more global till the fundamentals and training of Asian and European players overtook the US culture of pool.

The 2023 Hitler Cup would be surprisingly good (use Axis vs Allies at the height of the Nazi regime as the teams, and recognize Spain as pretty sympathetic to the Nazis).

Axis Team Possibilities:

Filler, Ouschan, He, FSR, Alcaide + the Polish players

Allied Team Possibilities:

SVB, Gorst, Woodward, Shaw, Mika + the Filipino players.

I’m not sure how well the “Hitler Cup” would go over from a marketing point of view, however, there seems to be some stigma associated with that name.

I had an idea of using territories within the last century so the US can claim the Philippines and gain some players from there. A bit less controversial LOL
