Fedor vs Alex money match starts tonight. Who do you guys like ?

Alex paid off pro rate for first 25. They start over race to 50 for the rest using template rack

2-0

Why would fedor agree to change the game up 25-15 first day?

So did Alex buyout first day then starting over next day with template race to 50?

Hate to be thinking this way, but younger eyes, nerves, and stamina will probably come out on top. (I've been an Alex fan for decades.)

Yes it was mentioned the first 25 was pro-rated and a fresh game with new conditions to 50. racing to 25 each day has not changed.

I am selfish and kind of glad, Alex looked like he was going to be lapped and now it may still happen but at least we get to wait for it.

Cheers,

Fedor was not happy with the way the table was racking today and couldn't get balls to freeze correctly.

Finally they agreed to pro rate and start a new race to 50 using a template.

I don't know if I could let him change the game. I can't believe Alex had the balls to ask for a change.

The rack change isn't going to matter. Fedor is a beast breaking with the template rack-- and the balls disperse more evenly-- easier to run out, which favors the better shooter.
I think poor Alex is going thru exactly the same problem with his eyes sight that I went thru at his age. I played my first 25+ years wearing contact lens. But once I hit my mid to late forties, my vision (like most peoples) changed and I couldn't see very well up close (reading distance). My pool game suffered. I tried bi-focals, but it actually made it worse. So I compromised and got nice pair of single focus lens. Now my distance vision is a sharp (20/12) but is still blurred for about the first 16" --I read (and check the rack) OVER my glasses lol. But overall I can aim and play much better pool in regular glasses than contacts. In fact, at age 55, I've never shot better! Maybe Alex should try this.
Oh, and I wear a baseball cap to keep the light glare down.
