Fedor vs SVB score

SVB breaks and goes safe on the one.

SVB jumps at the 1-7 combo. Calls the 7 but makes the 1.

Fedor makes the one and gets rewarded with shit position on the 3. He reverse angle banks the 3 to the side and gets perfect position.

Runs out.

The Action Report. Started by a former member here. It was the first time there was ever a race to 100 type format, and it was live streamed to boot. The first one was in 2007. It was Corey vs Shane. It was the first time anyone outside of South Dakota ever heard of Shane, and introduced us to his game. It lasted about 7 or 8 years and had about 100 matches. The later matches were shorter races to 21 or so instead of 100.

TAR 1 was the very first match. They were retroactively numbered TAR 2, TAR 3, etc. TAR 1 introduced us to Shane's 10 ball break that he became famous for. Routinely making 3-5 balls on the break, his pop, the 2 corner balls going 4 rails, etc.

Oh, one more reason I was bringing it up, is in recent years the 10 ball break has come down in speed, because the template rack is so popular. The TAR matches were all a triangle rack, and Shane was hammering them. I haven't really seen anyone hammer the 10 ball break in years (or 9 ball for that matter). So it is refreshing to see it again.

This is an adept analysis.

I missed how the rack got turned over to Fedor. But he ran like a quarter horse. Very quick pace. He looks natural now.

Fedor breaks and is hooked on the 1. A blast from the past. I thought he fixed this.

The 2 is not in a great position. He is taking a ton of time. He pushes. Shane says Naw, take that shit!

Fedor jumps it in and is further screwed on the 2. Jumps an impossibly long jump and fouls.

BIH Shane. This is a technically difficult rack. Shane bumps the 9 on the way to the 5 and gets bump shape. Table is open and long but doable now.

54-54 what a match!

Shane breaks hooked on the one. Push out. Leaves a spot shot with the CB on the foot rail. Fedor goes safe…battle ensues.

Fedor gets a tenuous first look on the 1. He declines and chooses the safety battle.

Fedor gets a ducked 1 ball with a screwed up table. Not easy but doable by a great player.

He passed the test. He’s a great one! Damn purdy.

54-55 Fedor regains the lead
