Fedor Vs Tony 1 pkt

Shane said that their sponsor wouldn't like it if they palyed, Cutec wasn't interested in seeing that happen.
That's kind of weird. Does Cutec think because one of them has to lose we're all going to lose confidence in Cutec? A tennis racket company would love it if two of their sponsored players met in the finals of every tournament.

Here's another data point: if they're both sponsored by Cutec, how come no one told Fedor Cuetec doesn't want the match? I'm thinking Shane is ducking. Don't blame him.

Translation: "I'd rather not gamble with Fedor." Do you think Predator could care less whether its sponsored players gamble against each other? Just like Cuetec and every other sponsor, all they want is for their brand to be as visible as possible.

Personally, I don't think Shane is the favorite to beat Fedor at anything in a long match on a nine-footer. Maybe Shane had the stamina of a young man a few years ago, but this year's mismanaged Derby City 9-ball, sadly, came down to stamina, when both Shane and Fedor had to play through Saturday night and into Sunday morning. Fedor beat Shane easily in the final.

Gorst against Filler in an all-around is a very difficult call. Both are amazing at each of 9ball, 10ball, one-pocket, banks and straight pool and an all-around covering all five disciplines would be breathtaking.

this match wasn't very entertaining imo. one way traffic, tony looked out of sorts. i switched to the brandon crockett event on post up, svb and tyler played great

Yeah, Alex is past his prime and that kid may be the best in the world now...definitely a bad combination for Alex.

he's still top dog in one pocket though. he may not shoot as accurately in rotation but i watched him torture one of the chinese 8-ballers the other day, alex outmoved him in his own game before he went for the kill. i don't think fedor wants to play him 1p

As the pool aficionado that you are, has Fedor and Joshua ever matched up in 1 pkt? I haven’t seen to many matches of Josh playing 1 pkt. Has he ever played a long 1 pkt match like Fedor just finished up with Tony ?

To my knowledge, Fedor and Josh have never matched up at one-pocket. Pretty sure Josh beat Tony Chohan in a race to 30 in one-pocket in about 2020.

It's been shown decade after decade the better player wins the specialty games against the best, after just a few months of practice. Efren is of course the most famous case. One hole, bank pool, backpocket 9 ball, etc.

The only place this has not held true (unlike my quote a few posts above from Fast Eddie) is across cue sports. Pocket Billiards, Carom Billiards, and Snooker, have held their own, and not allowed any crossover champions. I wonder why this is so.
Not since Harold Worst...
