Feedback itrader is not fair..check this out!!

your right i am still pissed...but i am only hurting myself doing this...lol...he tried to make the deal right but at the time i wasnt having it...i was just seeing ....kinda funny know because i can see were i went wrong with the way i dealed with him...but you can only take so many reasons for this and that at the time the deal is going on...i hope you fell better and maybe a pm to the other party might make you fill better and yall can settle it so you will fill better..someone once told me you can catch more bees with honey then vinegar...but all i had to offer at that time was a bunch of vinegar..

You are not treating our community with the respect it deserves. You air your dirty laundry for all to see. We only have one side of the story, and it is looking more suspect with every post you make. Best for you to drop it and move on.

I beg to differ sir..this is an issue that has to be addressed..there is
nothing Suspect about my actions..what other side of the story is
there when one reniggs on a deal..not my dirty laundry..just trying
to run the washer..but thanks for you opionion..i take it in stride..
perhaps your right..but..maybe not..Randy

Recently i had a guy back out of a deal on my McDaniel cue..so i got some
advice to leave him a negative on his itrader..well after thinking about it
for some time..i decided maybe this is the thing to do..since he had no
remorse in his heart or mind of the transaction..so i posted a negative on
him...but..since he has more itrader ratings then me..he only went down
to 97%...then he left me a negative saying i was unreasonable..wow..now
since i have only 3 itrader ratings it dropped me to 80%...another..WOW..
i have a hard time dealing with guys who lie like he did on me with his negative feedback...
so..should one never ever..ever..leave a negative..if
so what good is this system..heres to ya dacue:kma: From the heart of a man of his word..Randy

AKA...strokerace

Others may not agree, but what you did is just fine in my opinion so long as the story you have given is correct.

Take Care

Hey..Yea i can understand that..but man..im a stinker about s*it like this..
take care and thanks for the post..Randy

The fact that he had so many good dealings to the point that your negative feedback only brought him down to 97% seems like the way it should be to me.

that sort of thing happened a lot on eBay; when a seller left the buyer neutral or negative feedback for a transaction. Invariably the seller would leave the buyer matching neutral or negative feedback. Ultimately eBay stopped allowing sellers to leave other than positive feedback unless there was a non-payment issue.

that might be a good solution here.

Randy, deals may fall apart for a variety of reasons. If I had posted negative i-trader for everyone that ever backed out a deal they suggested, proposed, and/or agreed to with me, I'm pretty certain that my own overall feedback would be completely negative due to retalatory fb's. And at times I thought that some in particular deserved the big (-), but it's all in the nature of trying to sell things....especially to pool players. Best this is realized and accepted as part of it. Not knowing any specifics, what you've done may be completely on the up-and-up, but in the grand scheme of things it's not a huge deal. Hope this helps and is a lesson learned. Best of luck to you. Sean

Sometimes there are circumstances that cause a deal to fall thru. You should think twice about the consequences before deciding to damage someone's reputation. Most work hard on it and take pride in it.

Hey..i agree..i did think long on it..not spontanious at all..just trying to
reaffirm the meaning of integrity..thanks for your post..take care..Randy

i just want to say thanks to all members for their comments and such
on this thread..it has truely been a unique and controversial post..
take care and will appreiciate any other comments as well..Randy

If you didn't do a deal with him you had no business leaving i-trader. You did not do the deal, for whatever reason, so there is no i-trader to report. Vindictive use of i-trader has resulted in banning, essentially you were mad and wanted to extract a measure of revenge because he backed out of a deal (your story).

I know Dave and have a great respect for him and the way he conducts business. He is a long term member who is knowledgeable and respected. If you two did not consummate a deal you had in the works it is no big deal. I have had that happen to me more times than I could count here, and maybe even been responsible for a few the other way too. The fact is, you have your cue, and you lost nothing.

Time for you to get over it and move on, quit whining over spilled milk and buck up.
First of all thank Tommy for your kind words. I do appreicate it very much.
I was going out stay out of this, Randy is pissed.
I made a deal with Randy, I thought about it. I contacted him ASAP, and said I would pass on the cue, less than 18hrs. after making the deal. So I did'nt leave him hanging.
I explained that I changed my mind and I would not buy the cue. I did this is in a timely manner so he could repost that cue is back on the market.
I think he sold the cue the next day? He expeirenced no $$$ damage by my change of mind.
He said some things to me, I thought where abit over the top. But it's a free country, so he had his say. I thought that would be the end of the matter.
A few days later he sends me a pm, with things that bordered on scolding me, as if I where his child. I thought this stuff was way over the over the top.
I did not reply to the pm, I let him have his say again. But I guess that was'nt enought for him.
He then posted a negitive i-trader for this non-transaction. No money changed hands, we only talked about the deal on the phone. I did'nt know you could do this, but it was done.
I responed in the only manner I could think of was to in kind voice my opnion. That I thought "Seller was unreasonable". I did not want to post negitive i-trader. I saw no other way to responed to his actions. I was not going to get into a bickering contest via pm's. I still will not.
This will be my only response to his post. My reputation on this forum, and other pool realated forums will speak for itself.
I wish everyone (including Randy) nothing but the best.
Life is too short.
