Feeling nostalgic

With any luck....there won't be a "third" wife :) and...I believe the saying goes....you can't get blood from a turnip.

This would probably explain the lack of spousal lineage. ;)

Hey Mr. Wilson,
You want to go down the good side of memory lane not the bad side! Any more photos that you can post? Thanks for a good thread.
Many Regards,
Lock N load.

Hey I love that song but the movie gave me the willies!

No Scott I did know there was another VR. The room in Denver was my first real poolhall. Right after I discovered it the darn thing went belly up
if you can imagine that:eek:

I know it was one of them good ol trucks. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Living Legend,
I am happy to be here after going thru the Hurricane in New Orleans, Louisiana. Buddy Hall and I talk all the time, he is a good friend of the Lock. I was at the worlds pool hall tonight with Ronnie Wiseman. Lots of action at Buffalo Billiards, the worlds pool hall. Ronnie won the One Pocket tournament in PA championship last month and come in second in the 9 ball tournament. I am waiting on Mr. Wilson to post some more good photos!

Now how have you been?

Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

I had the same thought, Jim! LOL :D BTW, did you know there was a much more famous Velvet Rail poolroom, in MI? Bigtime players room back in the day (seems like about the same "day" as in your picture! LOL).

Last time I saw Mike Carrella win a 9-ball tournament was at the Velvet Rail.
...and in action, a man named Gary Nolan got the 8 from Jimmy Mataya....
...and 'bushwhacked' him.

The Velvet Rail ( I always liked that name ) was opened in Lansing by Joe
Farhat, the best supporter that the WPBA ever had.
