Felt recommendation for unbranded ball polisher

Hey all, just got a new set of balls, and need to replace the felt for my unbranded ball polisher, that holds all 16 balls at once. There is a lot of dirt/particles in it currently, and I don't want to polish my new (Duramith) ball set until I replace the felt on the disc, and the holes. I read a recommendation in another thread for Grainger 2'x2' 1/4" felt from Grainger, but that size does not seem to be available on the site.

Anyone else got a link to a good felt product?

Thanks,

Short Bus Russ

Grainger F1 felt, whatever size sheet and thickness you need.

I don't, just curious which Duramith ball set you settled on as we were discussing it on your other thread a couple weeks back.

Nice! Enjoy!
I just got my Snookerspex order yesterday as well, in time for league this weekend!

I mean, I might be searching wrong, but it looks like the price on Grainger.com is 36"x"36, 1/4" thickness for $222.00? Seems excessively expensive for felt. There is no 24"x24".

You might want to try McMaster-Carr.

I have used McMaster-Carr for many products in my shop, always had good luck with them.

Your ball polisher might be a little more fancy than mine, but could you get some carpet cutoffs or some such.

We have a store here called Jo-Ann Fabrics. It’d like a superstore for moms who like crafts. Went there with the little woman to find stuff for kids Halloween costumes. They had all sorts of cloth and felt material.

Don’t know if there’s anything like that in Germany, but prolly find it online?

I had someone once tell me to use Marine Grade carpet and I did in my old bucket polisher and it worked great.
You can get it so many places, including Home Depot has a heat resistant version for .59 sq ft. $3 change a linear sq ft.
Good luck...
