Hello People, i bought a slate ex pub pool table for really cheap i decided to do it up.
I Installled Green LEDS under the pockets, multi colour led for ball rack, and other leds under it.
Also repainted and Refelted it. Installed a Magnetic Ball return for white ball.
My Restoration is complete but the roll doesnt feel right. it seems to stop really quickly. i have posted a video on youtube because i figured this was the only way you could see it.
heres the direct link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qd_IWQY3hsU

Any Ideas on how to make the ball roll better, i have tried tightining the felt, ironing the felt, and flipping the felt over. still to no evail.

Thanks Guys

What type of Cloth to you have on that table . My first thought on looking at it was felt that you would get at a fabric store .

slow roll

i watched your video , could not tell much about the roll just droping balls
on table. how is the roll after ball hits rail . how does it roll as in play.
you said cloth is tight. what kind of cloth ?
i allways use a good 21oz cloth . there ars several mid grade cloths
on the market that is good. table looks good. keep working at it.
have a good day , john : anderson sc

I'd have to agree. Either you've put actual Felt on there instead of a pool table cloth, or the table is far enough out of level that you're rolling balls uphill in that video. I don't see them hooking though, so I'd say it's the cloth. What type of cloth did you install on it?

By the way, the lighting looks pretty cool. Would look great in a dark bar or dance club.

Or a combination of the cloth being upside down and sponge balls.
I'm not familiar with Matrix cloth so can't comment on it.
