Question about ferrule replacement.
Just had a call to replace current ferrule with a buffalo horn ferrule.
The shaft is a wooden Meuccui that has been turned down to 11 mm.
All the jobs I done have been 12mm and up.
The customer says he has the tip and ferrule coming in the mail today.
My question is will I have enough side wall on the ferrule vs tenon for this job to not crack in the future.
Thanks
