I have a pair of cues from Edwin Reyes when he ran the AzB special. They are fantastic and I'm proud to own them. I've attached a picture of them.

My son lives in Columbia, what's the best pool room there? Do you go to any Tiger games?

I typically play at either Billiards, which is downtown on 9th, or Rack & Roll, which is south of town off of Providence. Both are owned by the same guy and are pretty decent places to play.

Unfortunately, I've only been to a couple of basketball games and a couple of volleyball games. Since this is my last year of undergrad coming up I'll probably try to make it to a football game or two as well.

I have a close friend who bought a bunch of them when they first hit ebay, they all warped badly. They were loaded with inlays, a lot of abalone in particular,But the craftsmanship was HORRIBLE,inlays floating in pockets so loose they were cocked to one side or the other and looked like a school project. The finish was worse than what I have done from a rattle can.Its too bad realy, because if they had had some decent eqipment and some more stable wood thay might have looked as nice up close as they do from across a room.
Even though they all sucked, the ones marked "audrick" seemed to suck a little less than most of the others. I think he gave around $100-$150 apiece for them, and they can now be had for $25.00 -$30.00 on ebay now.
there may be some "real" cue makers in the phillipnes, but the stuff i've seen that came from ebay auctions is pure crap! and warp in a hurry.
p.s no kidding....They are for sale.

I have to disagrre with the statement about Audrick Cues. Patrick Hermans is the gentleman selling these cues on ebay and he just sold one today for $455.00 i believe. Ebay item # 260008461135 if you care to verify. I have several of the cues that Patrick is selling and they are definately not as you describe. Although Patrick does not actually make these cues who ever makes them now puts alot of time and effort into them. He has sold well over 700 cues and perfect feedback at 100%. And he is also an honest man trying to earn a decent living seeing as he is a German National living in the Philippines..............mike

My Philippine Q

I have a Gracie Cortes 1/1 Q made of ebony, some species of spalted wood, and ivory. All hand made. It is 3 years old, and as straight today as brand new. It is a true beauty and hits well. It is quality all the way.:) I hope any Qs that I acquire in the future are as good as this one.

PI cues

I own a cue made in the Philippines all hand made with the nicest piece of coco bola that I have ever seen, the points are all full splice, even and sharp. If I knew how to post pictures I would make it my avatar.Any cue maker in the U.S. would charge at least 1000 for this cue and I got it for a fraction of that.

I've got an old JAZZ cue made by Tony Bautista. Its pretty simple in design but the hit is great. I don't know if I'll ever part with it even though I don't play with it anymore but when I do get a chance to bang some balls around, it just feels very natural in my hands.

BTW, does anyone on this forum know Bautista's background in the cue making industry and who he's made cues for in the past? I tried emailing him but no response has yet to be returned.
