Filipinos in us open

How come there's a lot filipino players are missing in us open?i saw them yesterday on the list but they are all gone today..like alex pagulayan and efren reyes?or maybe they all went to japan with busti..
 
There's 2 separate stories circulating. The first one says they are in Japan with Busti and the 2nd one says that the flooding has caused several of them serious personal hardships that they had to go home to take care of.

I am hoping it's just the first but they are sorely missed. Seemed like everyone I saw was searching the brackets in vain for Efren and Busti today.
 
Possible fallout from Galveston? I still think the payout 'problems'. Might cause future problems for American pool attracting foreign players.
 
Could their absence be related to how they were not at the other events of the "WPA ranking tour" (Philippine Open, China Open, Qatar Open, US Open, and the World Ten Ball Championship)???
