Couple odd things in game 20 (I believe both in game 20), score 10-9 Tony

1. Early in rack,Tony miscues and jumps the cue ball of the table. He spends a lot of time on the edge of the cueball, but this is the first time I’ve seen him do this.

2. Down 5-0 in balls, Tony makes a slow cross corner and might get position from up table, but the cueball hits a piece of chalk and the cueball stops and rocks back safe.

Close match, and Joshua is firing away like a rookie at times.

I kinda feel sorry for Filler, he doesn't know the simple shots that are routine for long time one pocket players.

Filler is a straight shooting son of a gun, and that has kept him in the match.

I had to laugh at the dumb commentators though, they were saying how the European players would dominate and there are a bunch of great players....

No.

Missed parts and the end.

How long did day 1 take?

So the commentating by Alex was done remote?

So you judge all European players by performance of Filler?
And when he gets little more practice on one pocket guess what?

I didn't judge them, the commentator did. He said Filler was the best in Europe and there were several that could be the best in the world if they played one pocket.

Filler was the typical straighter shooter that IMO hardly missed a shot.

Filler lost games because Tony knew more moves and was a smarter player.

Sorry but that is the fact. Filler shot the wrong shot, but made it.

Tony moves better than Filler right now.

In time, Filler may be able to move as well as Tony or better.

But Tony will never be able to shoot as straight as Filler.

Tony did have to shoot out of some traps that Filler put him in and then one of his take outs of a ball in Filler's pocket looked impossible.

All in all it was exciting to watch these two go at it. Tony also had that game where he slammed into the stack and two balls went in Filler's hole but he won that game anyway.
