Too bad we can't get another great pool movie. There have been some decent ones but not on the level of TCOM or the HUSTLER.

The Hustler is the only really great one, that I know of. The Color of Money was a joke, in comparison, in my opinion.

still for a pool player its refreshing to see anything that has pool in it good or not so.

The Color of Money was far enough behind The Hustler that most going see it as a Tom Cruise date flick didn't compare it to The Hustler. Stand alone particularly with nonpool players or recreational players, it faired pretty good. The Hustler was loaded down with superstars and stars, it will take a hell of a movie to match it. I don't think it is possible in today's field of actors. There aren't the true superstars that are head and shoulders above the field.
