Filler beats Shane 9-0

So, Filler has agreed to a race to 100, but not to 120, against SVB? And, Shane would only play Filler if it were a longer race, to 120? I believe that Filler would do good in any case.
It seems like 120 is the magic number for Shane to agree to a long race bet. I’m not sure what Filler’s “magic number” is, but it’s likely less than 120. As far as I know, Josh has never agreed to challenge Shane in a race to 100.

I wonder if any kind of match up has ever been discussed by the 2, or their stake horses.

Because 1 person had 7 bnr's in a row ONE person? That's the reason to change things? Why didn't all those other champs put up the same #'s, why didn't Filler do it every time?

Incentive...and the lack of every pool match being watched by you?

Surely you know about anecdotal evidence and conclusions based upon it?

I watched the stream and it was about as good a set as you could shoot. 30 minutes total. Filler was in dead stroke and his break was perfect. Made the wing ball and shape on the one in the top corner every time. It was pretty amazing. His 7-pack on the TV table was impressive.

If it was on the TV Table, then why am I not able to find the match on youtube? I really want to see it, lol.

You keep jabbering on but I've yet to see a post about all these huge package runouts.
That is self imposed.

You continue to disregard both the lack of incentive and the risk/reward impact

Would you bet a top pro cant run x racks in row? I've never spent Filler's or Gorst's or shaw's money but Im sure one of them might give you some action on one can do a fat fn number on a standard table with a template.

Filler just seems to have Shane's number. I'm not saying Shane can't win, but physiologically he's at a disadvantage at this point. I think Filler and Gorst are the match-up to see. Maybe we just throw Filler, Gorst, SVB, FSR, and Shaw in for a winner-take-all contest. Who doesn't want to see that?

How about this for a format...say race to 150. played on two tables, a winners table for 1 point and a losers table for 1/2 point. Loser of the loser table sits out and gets nothing and loser of the winner table drops down? I'm just making this up on the fly. What do you think?
Just last year, Shane beat them all in the round robin that MR put on. None of them are horsef$%ing anyone. Some tournaments one will dominate, some another will.

Go back to TCOM, "it goes in streaks, the balls roll funny for everyone kid".

The Winner Break format is a “thing” of the past. IMHO. Acceptable, maybe, 20 years ago. With today’s equipment, it’s obsolete If you want a fair competition and Not an Excellent Exhibition. When I go to a Top Tier Tournament, I pay to see Good Competition and not to see Good Exhibition.
This is not the first time it happened. Maybe this Winner Break format will change now that the “victim “ was Captain America.

Hate to break it to you but putting together strings of packs, especially of those kinds of numbers, are what producers of these events hope to happen to draw in potential new viewers/spectators. It's here to stay whether you like it or not.

Not really, it is going the way of the dodo. Matchroom is turning 9 ball into 10 ball and snooker.
