Filler vs Kiamco in Roy's Basement

WK won the 2019 US Open 1p. Very light field, but he did go 5-0 with a win over Billy(3-2) and beat Shane in the finals(4-2).

Filler did tie for 6th at DCC 1p 2019.

I had heard Roy mentioning that WK and Filler gambled 1p in Vegas and they ended even. Filler had WK by a number of games then WK figured out how to strategize vs Filler and got it to even.

I watched Filler go 15 and out three times vs the 1p ghost in a short span. BIH after the break and can choose the pocket. So the kid can just flat out run out if he can see a shot.

Being on Roy's stream so much lately, he's gotten A LOT of fan support now. People don't see him as arrogant anymore. The kid is genuine and just likes competition no matter the game.

Should be a great match.

Tied for 6th at DCC this year. Tied for 28th in 2019.

Filler must be a solid favorite, because I can’t get a bet down in the Action Room.

And I hope we aren't using the Mosconi Circus as a gauge as to what kind of person filler is.

That persona is as much hollywood as Josh.

But, but, but he threw his own cue on the ground after winning the World Pool Championship! What a horrible person! :D

Is love to see that but Efren is the underdog these days, I’d wager.

Did you wager when Efren played Mosconi Cup team member Thorpe less than a year ago? If so how much did you lose?

He pulls similar antics outside of the Mosconi Cup as well. I watched him play Skowerski last month in the Diamond Las Vegas Open. Josh was up like 6-2 in a race to 7 and let Skowerski fight back to hill/hill. Skowerski missed on the 7 ball when it was hill/hill and when Josh got back to the table he was up to his same antics: blowing on the ball, waving his arms at the cue ball, doing his smile/eyebrows thing he likes to do, etc. These are the antics people point to when saying he's arrogant and acts like an ass at the table.

Anyways, he proceeded to dog the 10-ball twice and Skowerski ended up winning. Stormed out of the playing area after that showing.

I think he should get a pass for now since he's still only a 22 year old kid. But if he's still acting like this in a few years, then some criticism may be justified.

In his defense(I guess), it was his first impression for a multitude of people in the US who are most likely SVB fans and pulling for the USA in the cup. Easy to strike a nerve like that.

I didn't exactly like it but I understood it, and it worked, he beat SVB like a drum.

I also agree with your post.

I hear ya. One of us was there and it wasn't I.

I always try to remember that for every high there is a low.

What what the match and how it ended? I hear about it quite often.

Roy said Billy's guys been wanting a rematch but now you cant find a person to back Efren(decline).

June 2019. They played races to 10, first to win 3 sets. Efren took in down in 4 sets. He lost set #2 and won the others.

i don't know how good filler's 1p game is, but warren is a very good mover and quite efficient in taking the edge of offensive 1p play. will be interesting for sure

He's playing last pocket 8b, take what you make, no BIH right now live.

Taking bets with Roy.

Lost 2 sets, won 1.

What color mask will they be wearing?

in the last match i saw the opponent sported a grey mask, filler no mask.

by now the roy crew would've gotten symtoms if they contracted the virus. roy has said they clean the table and surfaces, and are taking precautions. ideally warren would be tested before entering but i don't know if they are gonna do that.
