Both me and another guy on here ask you if this would taper shafts and butts ? You never answered so I sent you two PM'S still nothing so i guess the answer is NO. Thanks for the info.

sorry if i missed you at this point its a repair lathe it will accept a shaft or butt and you can sand polish or wrap but cant tapper a shaft or butt we are working on a full lenght steel bed and lead screw whe thats done you can have full travel and be able to do that repiar lathe price is 1600.00 the bed and lead screw will raise that price

You showed me that trick last year for the first time when you aligned the custom rear chuck extension you made for my mini lathe.

This was the second time you showed me that marking pen indicator technique for high & low spotting.

I always appreciate your help and mentoring. Your machining skills are down with all the little tricks of the trade.

I still am looking for absolute zero run out repeatability in pin installation, I guess that's pretty thing hard to when taping wood.

Thanks Rick, I still have nightmares about pin alignment .I have a system that works for now, the won i showed you hope it helps . thanks darrin
 
we have sold 4 now and the latest feedback was outstanding everyone very happy more to be finished this week and full steel beds are in the works thanks for looking
