I finally got my diffusers in and they made an amazing difference. Having 8 4 foot lights glaring in your eyes was losing its cool.

Now its time to start working on my game.

Feedback would be great! I would like to know likes or dislikes or something someone would have done differently.

Thanks
John

I wish I could just move your room to Oregon, and tack it to my house!
Looks great! :D

Very nice setup.as some of us get older our eyes become more light sensitive.this was nice of you to post for us..also for for your info.if you don't know already..various light companies make a flourscent light that puts out a natural or full spectrum light more like the sun would put out...they cost about double the price of regular bulbs..in my opinion they are well worth the extra money...Happy New Year :)

Nice room. Good luck with it. The above poster that ref'd. lighting is dead on about the blue lights. They come close to duplicating daylight and is more restful to the eye especially over an extended period of time. Any lighting store should have them or be able to order them for you. they also help your mood.

It is close enough to come into play. But not very often. I have played at John's several times and have never encoutered it at all.

Nice John. Can't wait to see it in person....

Thanks. I will keep them in mind for the future. If they are anything like the bulbs I used when I had a salt water aquarium, those were about 50 bucks a piece. If I'm wrong let me know what they usually run.

This light ended up costing me more than i thought it would but still not as much as one of the Diamonds. The diffusers cost me $110.00 alone. All in all I have about $250.00-$300.00 in it.

last time i bought the Natural/full spectrum bulbs was about a year ago at Menards..they were about $5.00 for a 4 ft.bulb.compared to about $2.50 for regular flourscents...i first bought them many years ago for my wood shop..i have 4 and 8 ft fixtures..i converted over all (dozens) of the bulbs..what they do is mimick the natural light that the sun provides..this allows a person to see better any imperfections in their work before painting or staining...good luck ..Happy New Year :)
