finally got a gold crown....yay

Finally located a gold crown in the cincinnati area that was within my budget. Its a gold crown 2 and in good shape. I paid 1500 which in my opinion is a good deal.

I wanna restore the table to the original retro look. I think they originally came in 4 colors??? Does anyone have any pictures of gold crowns in original condition that I could use as a color pallette?

Also, my table has ashtrays in all corners. Does anyone notice these obstructing play in anyway? Any idea where normal ones can be purchased?

Anyone in cincinnati know of a good mechanic, I think I will have Thorny put it together but just checking for anyone else.

I emailed brunswick, a while back, and they sent me pictures of all four models. I'm not sure if I still have them though. Email them for the pics and a copy of the assembly manual.

They were more than happy to help even though I was not buying a new Brunswick.

I recall hearing that the ashtray corner irons of GCs were quite collectable, so you should be able to find someone who would want to swap them for normal ones I'd imagine.
