...and ordered my first custom cue :grin:

I'm relatively new around this forum and have not been posting long, but I will say using the search function here and reading through numerous comments, reviews, and suggestions really helped steer me in my search.

This was an almost overwhelming process for me. There were so many questions and so many choices. I consider myself a 'do your homework' type person and can take it to the extreme. Hell, it took me 2 months to decide which ($150-200 range) digital camera I should get, so you can imagine what it's like for me to try to decide on a custom builder choice.

Anyway, after doing some homework, reading through many threads and reviews, and having the pleaseure of shooting with one of his cues I made the choice to have Chris Nitti build me a cue. I'm very excited to see my ideas come to life and can't wait to see the finished product. Chris was also a great guy to talk to. I'm looking forward to meeting him.

This is a good community and there are many individuals here who really seem to want to help folks out. It is appreciated.

Nice choice

Can't go wrong. I had one that I got from Nitti. I ended up parting with it and Nick Vita got it. Nitti's are great cues and he is a helluva nice guy to deal with.
 
Congrats & welcome to the forum. You made an excellent choice! I hope your cue turns out to be all you hoped for. Be sure & post up pics when the time comes!
 
Congradulations on pulling the trigger and welcome to the addiction of cue collection.

I started with a CK. I needed something because a cue "repair" idiot put a screw on tip on my Schon.

Have bought many more since. After buying that one I discovered why players keep trying out new cues. A fine cue really makes a difference. You will be able to see why some are in high demand. Finally found one that I feel will be my last. Still enjoy looking because I enjoy and appreciate the art and workmanship.

Congrats on your upcoming new custom cue! Mr. Nitti is very well respected and it's good that you're putting the money directly into his business so he can continue crafting. You definitely made a good choice.

Now you just have to wait that, fun, slower than actual time, wait for your cue. :smile: Looking forward to seeing pictures of it in the Gallery section.
