I am hoping someone can help with this situation. I have an opportunity to get a collectable cue from a guy and I can see where the finish is popping for about 5-7 inches directly in line with one of the sides of the points. It is popping on the left side of one of the points directly in line with where the point went in. I am just trying to figure out if this should be a concern or not? It looks like a long air bubble on one side of the points . Could someone possibly have dropped the cue allowing the point to separate from the forearm cracking the finish? I am just wondering why it is popping where the point goes in, and wondering if anyone has ever know this to happen and or if it will ever effect playability or weaken the cue etc..? Should i have any concerns? Thanks in advance for any help, Trav D.
