Hello folks and Happy 2013,

First cue to be completed in 2013...

Working for a while on this cue for Jimmy.

Still working on my photographic skills, I was unable to remove all the glare.
The depth of the redwood burl on the finish is incredible, very hard to photograph, I will still try to take a few more pics tomorrow morning.

Ebony segmented handle with California Redwood ringwork (veneer rings are also redwood). Forearm is the sickest California Redwood Burl I've put my hands on and still have enough left for one more cue - 3/8-10 titanium pin.
Redwood is a bit hard to work with since it is very soft.
The end result is there, hope you guys like it, specially Jimmy.

Looking forward to receiving the cue. Looks fantastic. Can't wait to see how beautiful the wood is in person. :)

Hey buddy - it's all greek to me you know :)

Thanks to all of you comments guys.
Kind of nervous since since Jimmy is used to the best of the best and I am humbled to work with Jimmy on a gorgeous cue.
Jim also asked for a longer taper on his shafts and some bowling alley wood, no snow white stuff :)
