First ferrule repair help

You need a lathe to do this.
You need to face the shaft down until the wood breakage has disappeared.
You should cut a thread on the tennon.
You need to bore a new ferrule to fit the remaining tennon on the shaft.
You should cut a matching thread on the inside of the ferrule.
You need to glue (or glue and screw) the new ferrule onto the shaft and allow to cure.
You need to turn the outside of the ferrule oto the shaft diameter.
You need to face the ferrule to the length of the tennon.
You should put a very tiny chamfer on the edge between the face of the ferrule and the OD of the ferrule.
At this point the shaft is repaired and only needs a new tip glued on.
If you don't understand any of the language above, this is not a job you can do yourself.

The most economical solution is to take it to a local cue repairman or maker. You will regret attempting this without a lathe and some experience.

Maybe I am reading this wrong from Ozone's site. To me it looks like the the cue has a lifetime warranty, that includes warping.
Having a cue repair shop myself I would agree that a lathe would make this job faster and more precise. Although I could geterdone with a pocket knife
Not sure why some cues use short ferrule tenons? Sampaio cues were short also, never made sense to me.
