Yup. It’s the easiest to execute of all the shots suggested, and it has the added advantage of winning the game outright.

You guys might be right - playing straight pool, most players would be ok w/that 6 ball as a break shot.
Especially if you're down 4-0. Up 4-0? Maybe not.

What type of caliber is your competition? And how much are you playing for? If you’re playing me you can do just about anything and still win. But it looks like the 15 goes so I’m amending my shot before I do it.
I’m gonna cut the 6 into the 7 for the carom off that stripe to push it to my hole and leave the rock nestled in that group of three balls. You should probably just go back to eating after that because you will be in jail. Unless, of course, I hit it too hard and that stripe or three ball frozen on the rail goes out too far and leaves you straight in.

I think maybe I like shooting into the 9 and drawing cb up to side pocket area, behind the 3stripes...hopefully.

Im new to 1 pocket but it looks pretty easy to sell out by trying to pocket a ball. I think Im going to bank the 15 as close to my side of the table as I can get it and put the cue ball between the rail and 12/14 balls to take away opponents bank shot.
