I'm going to offer this on ebay in a few weeks unless someone wants to buy it here for $600 shipped.

In 1985 Meucci was to launch an Earl Strickland series. There were 4 models. This cue is the prototype of the first one and is marked as such. It's a two pointer, two ebony points against highly figured stained birdseye, black linen (not coated).

This cue is reasonably straight and was refinished by Scot Sherbine years ago and is pristine. 19 ounces, 58", one 12.8 mm shaft.

I have only seen a couple of these Earl Strickland Meucci's. Hopefully it will go to an Earl Fan.

Edit - on double checking the cue, there is a slight roll out in the joint area - I stress slight.

This is a press release from PooL and Billiard Magazine in 1985 - I don't know why this line wasn't launched in any quantity - would welcome any information.

Congratulations, Joel, I promise you won't be disappointed. I had received other offers for the cue to end early and so forth but I turned them down.

Shipping to you Monday Fed Ex 2 day.

Damn, how did I miss this. I wanted to pay well over what it has been sold for. If anyone knows one up for sale, let me know.
