Can anyone tell me what, if any relationships exist between the 2 women's world snooker champions Allison Fisher and Kelly Fisher. Also, what about Mandy Fisher who was a runner up in the same event in the 1980's.

They are all the illegitimate daughters of Carrie Fisher and Bobby Fisher. Chess is actually their best game, and all have been offered parts in the next Star Wars installment.

Signed,
Fisher Stevens (cousin once removed)

Thankyou Gremlin...and Willie Betmore for the humor!:)

Strange how snooker seems to bring out common names. In men's snooker we have the legendary Joe and Fred Davis (brothers) followed by the great Steve Davis who was unrelated.

btw: Janie Watkins is also a good friend of mine (via the net) and I hear a pretty good player!

Gremlin,

I can see why you're such a devout fan, these ladies are lovely and they play pool too!

Intersting question, Colin, but you need to be careful. Same last name doesn't mean a pool player is related to someone else. For example:

Tommy Kennedy is not related to John F Kennedy
Rodney Morris is not related to Mercury Morris
Danny Hewitt is not related to Lleyton Hewitt
Kim White is not related to Betty White
Tiffany Nelson is not related to Ozzie Nelson
Charlie Williams is not related to Andy Williams
Jeremy Jones is not related to Paula Jones

Well, you get the picture.

A beautiful women by the name of Stacey Hillyard is another one of snooker ladies who has played 9-ball in the WPBA.

I reckon Hillyard would do great if she went for 9-ball but she retired cuesports all together awhile back or?. Remember having a VHS of her winning a 9-ball tournament in Germany beating Louise Furberg (swe) in the final with Allison Fisher on 3rd.

Stacey Hillyard was also the first woman to make a competitive centurybreak in snooker if I remember correctly.

PS: Do you read your pm's Gremlin? :-)

Hi Colin,

All three Fishers are totally un-related. Also, Mandy is a previous World champion.

Regards,

Lionel
