Flat faced shaft on piloted butt

I bought a Cuelees cue and it has a piloted radial pin and shaft. Anyone see any difference in using a flat faced shaft with it? I cant seem to feel any difference, but wondering if anyone had any thoughts or experience?

Anybody marketing adapter washers?
Good idea, but not sure it would be a universal fit. I’m thinking if it needed to be changed it would have to have some work done by a cue smith.

no problem
I have a flat faced 5/16x14 shaft that plays and feel just fine on piloted butts and I also have a cue with a piloted radial joint and I've used flat faced Predator radial shaft on it with no issues.

You can use flat faced shafts on piloted cue butts and there is no difference in playability concerning that particular shaft as long as it sits tight on the cue butt joint facing.

For a flat faced butt, you can use a mid cue extension as an adapter
That might save the shaft from "collar ring" - the only issue I see with the mismatch. I have a metal extension that won't help at all. The reverse - piloted shaft to flat, might require more crafting.
