Flat faced shaft on piloted butt

I bought a Cuelees cue and it has a piloted radial pin and shaft. Anyone see any difference in using a flat faced shaft with it? I cant seem to feel any difference, but wondering if anyone had any thoughts or experience?

Good idea, but not sure it would be a universal fit. I’m thinking if it needed to be changed it would have to have some work done by a cue smith.

Lots of people have used a flat faced shaft on a piloted butt and I've never heard of anybody having any problems with it, or anybody who could feel any difference (though I'm sure there are some who are going to claim they can).

I have a flat faced 5/16x14 shaft that plays and feel just fine on piloted butts and I also have a cue with a piloted radial joint and I've used flat faced Predator radial shaft on it with no issues.

You can use flat faced shafts on piloted cue butts and there is no difference in playability concerning that particular shaft as long as it sits tight on the cue butt joint facing.

Agreed! That being said I know there are some cue makers that may have some nerdy technical information about it

For a flat faced butt, you can use a mid cue extension as an adapter
