You know, the funny thing is that nothing on this page is by Gremlin. Two of the pics are Diana Hoppe's (No credit given to her) and the other two were sent out by Charlie along with the complete letter that is on the page.

Something else kind of funny. I thought I banned Gremlin. :)

It's like you're picking up after a toddler, isn't it, Mike?

Yes, it is. I knew he was posting under his new name but I let it go because he was being pretty well behaved. That didn't last long.

Well, I sure am glad that I didn't waste my whole life in the world of pool. One thing I did find out in the past few years is that there are a lot of cry babies in this game.

So many insecure people out there. Trying to impress I don't know whom when the only person you should impress is the monkey in the mirror.

All these people putting the Gremlin down when you know in your hearts that he means no real harm. And he actually is quite knowledgeable about pool and the people he talks about. And he sure does have some nice pictures.

But I suppose that when people jump on the Gremlin they think it makes them important, or bigger in someones eyes. When in fact it just shows them for the low life they are.

I would venture that the most vocal among you haven't a pot to piss in. But you make good rack boys. Or lackeys for the room owner.

Now that CW posted and showed everyone how Doug had it all wrong to begin with are you all going to come up with your apologies? I sure won't hold my breath.

Last year John Di Toro did put someone on the clock and ended up forfeiting him when he didn't show up. But it wasn't Dave Grossman. The man he put on the clock was playing internet poker and was winning and decided not to show up for the match. But John was waiting for him until he found out where he was. So John forfeited him.

The Florida Pro Tournament is John Di Toro's tournament and he can run it any damn way he pleases. And the way he runs it seems to be working pretty well. And he does have sponsors that he has to answer to like the Seminole Tribe. John has to keep his sponsors happy if the players want to keep seeing $8,000 added. If that means waiting 15 minutes for a match to start so be it. I'm sure that isn't the first time that has happened and it sure won't be the last time. It happens here in our local tournaments all the time.

And please don't compare a pool tournament to a mega million dollar golf tournament. It just shows what a fool you are.

You just can't get past your dislike of me to confront the issue. I read Charlie's explanation and wrote a lengthy reply in a seperate thread that Charlie initiated. But, I'm still not clear on what he's saying. Did John Ditoro intend to 'seed' Charlie in the second round and forgot ? Had he already drawn Charlie's name and intended to just skip him and call all the others that were drawn in order and were PRESENT. Did he draw Charlie's name AND MATCH and then decide that since Charlie wasn't going to be there on time, that he'd simply put another match on table 6 and wait however long it would take for Charlie to get there ? If Charlie hadn't gotten there by the second round, would he simply move him to the third round. I'm sure that whatever Charlie or John say, the other one will back it up 100%. Tournament directors exercise alot of latitude in how the chose to run a tournament. I've been running tournaments for about 5 years at Planet 9-Ball and I announce that ALL players will be put on the clock if not ready to play when their match is called. It applies to ALL players (even the name players and players in the HOF) and all the players like that the rules apply to EVERYONE equally. I'm sure that like all my posts, you'll skip the content and try to come up with some other little clever shot at me... Why don't you just write it all down and come up to me at the next tournament we're attending and we'll discuss it, I don't bite... regards Doug

You make so many assumptions, which are wrong. Know the facts first before you make "slanderous LIES" such as this.
