Well, Day 2 is complete for the Fort Myers pool school, and all 7 students finished the day mentally and physically weary (the instructors are too! :D) We can already see an amazing transformation from many of the students at the beginning of yesterday morning, to the end of the day today. They all have begun to develop their own process, and have a new understanding of, and appreciation of what a stroke is (and isn't), how to self diagnose errors, and how to self-correct themselves. They also were treated to some "impossible" shots that Randy and I showed them (apparently they're not impossible! :D). Tomorrow they will learn a lot more, before they leave for home, to begin the next few weeks of ingraining what they learned in school...so that they can take it to their competitive game effectively. Pool school is something every poolplayer should experience! Oz says it best...most poolplayers just don't know what they don't know! At pool school you find out what you don't know...and better yet, how find the answers to what you don't know, learn how to make it work for you, and fix it easily when it's not working correctly.

Glad to hear you and Randy are having a good time. Will either of you be at the Super Billiards Expo in March @ Valley Forge?

I'm going to go up for a couple of days and it would be good to see you and Pops again.

Sad to say, just one more day. I like our time here in Ft Myers. This is a great class of students.

Rufus. I'm headed West for a couple more Pool Schools. No Valley Forge this year. See you soon.....SPF=randyg

Another successful Pool School almost in the books!

Great news to hear.

Scott. You are heading up the East coast after this school correct?

You told me you would be coming up this way near the end of the month.

I have my 14.1 tourney next weekend and hope you can come by.

Let me know.

Josh...No. I have a lesson tomorrow in Jacksonville, and a lesson in Daytona on Wed. Later in the week I'm headed back home, as I have an exhibition at IIT in Chicago on March 2nd. I will be in Richmond the week after Valley Forge. See you then.

That was a great school. Hope our students are as tired as I am!

Scott has a couple of private lessons before he leaves and I'm staying another two days and conducting another class.

This must be fun.......SPF=randyg

Day 3 complete

Well, another successful pool school is done! Randy and I finished the pool school in Ft. Myers yesterday, and everyone showed great improvement from Day 1. Now they have to begin the job of ingraining what they learned in school. We are already planning another school down here for late next fall, probably in December. The next one will be held at Diamond Billiards in Cape Coral. We spoke with the owners last night, and worked out all the details. Myself, I'll be back down here in FL in less than 6 weeks, for a month's vacation at the beach! Can't wait!

Take care of the Tim White situation while down there?

So Scott, while you're down there in FL, you could "take care" of the Tim White situation, yes? Kill two birds with one stone, so to speak (or in Tim's case, a bird and a "half").

:D
