foam brushes

If anyone uses a lot of 1" foam brushes, I found a place to get a case of 288 for $50 free shipping. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Economy-1-In-Foam-Brush-288-Per-Case-8500-1/100670982
I just got mine in, and tried them with Diamond clear and they worked well, and didn't melt. Can't beat the price.... 17 cents apiece compared to almost $1 each in the local stores. Hope this helps.

I've tried those and didn't really like them. I bought a couple boxes of Jen's off ebay and they are the best I have found.

About .30 a piece.

As long as your happy with those though and you get good results, I don't see a reason to change..

Randy, Dave, and all,

I've been using the 2" I get from Woodcraft - any opinion on these compared to the Jen's or others?

I got a bunch from eBay, they are a little stiffer than I like.
I'll probably try these ones :)

The plastic in the middle does feel a bit softer, but that's ok for my purposes. I use it for about 30 seconds to apply the finish or sealer and then toss it.

I get them at Hobby Lobby and usually catch them on sale. Can't remember the price as I bought them years ago and purchased enough to last a long time. I use to apply contact cement to glue on leather wraps.

Michaels has them 25 to a box for several dollars. I think they were $5.95.
