For Sale: 1970 TAD Merry Widow
This cue was acquired from the original owner who purchased it straight from the catalog in 1970. It features a highly figured Birdseye Maple forearm & buttsleeve, Linen wrap, Stainless Steel Joint and rings. This cue comes with three shafts total, (two original and one Billiard Shaft made by custom cue maker, Adam Franks).

Shaft 1 - 3.5oz @ 11.9MM | 29" with Ivory Ferrule
Shaft 2 - 3.8oz @ 12.2MM | 29" with Micarta Ferrule
Shaft 3 - 3.7oz @ 12.2MM | 28 1/4" Aegis Ferrule (This is a Billiard Shaft made by Adam Franks Custom Cues)
Condition...
This cue has been used, not abused. It has its typical wear expected from a 52 year old cue. The finish is original and intact. The two original shafts have the typical deep patina you get from old growth wood and they have bluing chalk from usage, as you can see in the photos. the first shaft has a defined roll but the tip doesnt leave the table. The second original shaft is straight with a slight taper roll. The billiards shaft straight and has very minor bluing from usage but is very high quality and tightly grained.
