No Longer Available: ED PREWITT - 5 Fancy Ring Cocobolo

Up for grabs is, what I truely believe is the best of Ed's 5 fancy ring series....a deep and rich, fiery cocobolo cue. The wood is nicely figured and everything is in prestine condition. This was purchased brand new a few months ago and has not seen much use because I bought an even fancier Prewitt a month or two later. Not a nick, scratch or smudge on the finish. An ultra-elegant precision cue in brand new condition.

The wrap on this cue is a genuine java-lizard wrap installed by Prewitt.

Length: 58"
Weight: 19.2 oz
Balance point: 18.75" from the base of the butt
Tip diameter: 12.75mm both shafts
Ferrules: ivory
Joint: solid ivory
Rings: A,B,C,D,E all ivory with paua dots

Both shafts have been hit with, but as you can see in the pics, they are in excellent condition, everything rolls perfectly straight. One shaft is tipped with a sniper, the other is tipped with a Moori-medium.

What else can I say? Its a Prewitt through and through. I am selling this because it is not getting any use and I am no collector....I'm a player.

Price: No Longer Available for Sale including next-day shipping to anywhere in Canada and the continental U.S. Paypal only please and I can only ship to paypal confirmed addresses (no exceptions). No trades please. Thanks.

This is a beautiful cue
I've liked every Ed Prewitt cue I've seen posted here on AZ.
He really does nice work

Your Prewitt cue is the best looking cue i've seen that didn't have points or inlays. It's amazing how much the fancy ring work adds to the looks of this cue. I agree with one of the other posts that this is the nicest Prewitt of this type i've seen also.

Pictures tell the story and you definately know what you're doing with these great pictures.

Thanks for the positive comments guys! This is a truely great cue both in looks and playability. I have received numerous complements at the pool halls on how good it looks.... it garners a lot of attention, despite its simplicity.

I'd love to keep it, but I feel that it belongs to someone who will use it. And to whomever buys this, I promise you: this cue will not let you down. Prewitts are great players.....period. It has a medium-stiff hit, excellent feedback, zero vibration.....but most of all.....it is consistent and PREDICTABLE. I can't stress the last two qualities enough... if you want to be a great player, you must be able to trust that your equipment will deliver the goods in the exact same way it always does. A precision instrument....

Anyhow, I think the price is fair for what you are getting. With the stock markets getting trashed, I don't blame people for holding back on cue purchases. But, on the bounce-back, feel free to stop by my thread again and consider purchasing this cue.

Thanks again for the bumps, guys!

Jun: I'll get in touch with you at Le Spot... maybe play a few racks.... but I suspect that it will be YOU who will have to spot ME the 7.

Prewitt Cue, EXCELLENT EQUIPMENT

bump...
Ed is top-of-the-line , IMO,
Everything meticulously crafted and assembled"
I agree, EXCELLENT PLAYERS TOO ...
Did you get the 4 point EP From Martin/Western cues???
He had one like you described, That cue is awesome":bow-down:

I get almost all my stuff from Martin....

He has all the good stuff and is one of the few I trust implicitly....

Is the butt ivory?
With your location being Canada, is there a problem with the cue coming into the US because of the ivory ?

The butt is not ivory.....I believe it's derlin.

Shipping ivory cues in and out of Canada from the US and to the US has never been a problem for me. My policy is that I assume full responsibility and ownership of the cue until the courier says that delivery has been made. If the cue does not reach your hands (as defined by
"delivered" by the courier), then I provide a full refund including all fees and shipping.

Thanks for the great questions!

What a beautiful cue!!

Wish I could afford another cue right now, I would own this one!!

Good luck with your sale
