Ending this Sunday 7/26, I'm auctioning off my 2009 Ginacue made from a 1969 spliced Burton Spain blank. My guarantee is simple, 100% satisfaction or return for complete refund. If the buyer feels that their dissatisfaction is due to a misdescribed auction, I refund all the postage as well.

This cue is being auctioned with no reserve price. The high bidder will win the cue. This auction won't disappear suddenly. I don't end auctions early. I don't have items for sale locally. This auction will run to the end. Interested buyers will all have an equal chance to bid and win the auction.

Please let me know if I can be of assistance.

That cue is exactly what I want in my next cue as far as looks go. Very hot!

GL with your sale.

WOW Kevin. I never thought I would see this cue up for auction.

Its a beautiful cue with a cool historical twist by a premier cue maker. This is the kind of stuff that really drives the collectible market. I'm not so much of a collector as I am a "getter" and what I do with what I get is generally auction it off on eBay.

I had lots of fun playing with this cue. It totally feels like a Gina with an old school flavor, the best of both worlds. The double green veneers visually pop in the pool room and Ernie matched the 1969 Spain blank pretty darn well.

Ernie is really good at what he does. He's been doing it with pride and great craftsmanship for years and he enjoyed this project. I've got cues coming from Ernie's current batch plus I recently had the opportunity to buy a fancy Snakewood Gina so something had to give and in this case its this Burton Spain Gina. I'm sure it will end up with an AZ member and I'm sure that member will appreciate it as much as I do, perhaps more.

Thanks

Kevin

Thanks for everybody'd kind words.

I've gotten some questions about the Spain blanks and its easier to just answer it here once.

Ernie Gutierrez bought 24 short spliced blanks from Burton Spain in 1969. Over the years Ernie made 17 cues with the blanks, including the series of sticks he made for the rat pack. When I got to the blanks there were 7 remaining, 4 I auctioned off on eBay.I gave back 3 blanks to Ernie to build cues from. I sold 1 of those 3 cues some months ago. This cue is the 2nd.

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks

Kevin

Tax!

I was JUST going to bid $2700 for the cue, but noticed that there will be tax added...geez, that would add another $250 to the cue. Sigh, I wish you were in Nevada!

Yup, I have to collect sales tax for residents of California. I'm glad you caught that before you bid but I'm wondering why you didn't bid $2500?

Thanks
