Description:

Here we have a super solid hitting TS that looks wicked nice. I get to say that since I'm up in New England!

The veneer colors are spectacular with jet black ebony points and butt sleeve. Bright white Delrin butt cap. 2 shafts with Ivory ferrules, and Moori medium tips

This cue is in terrific, used condition.. I did notice that at the base of both shafts just above the collar, there is a short indentation in the wood that I could not get to photograph. Definitely hard to notice and not scratched.

Specs:

Butt weight: 15.3 oz., straight

#1 Shaft weight: 4 oz., Ivory ferrule, Moori medium, 12.35 mm, straight

#2 Shaft weight: 4 oz., Ivory ferrule, Moori medium, 12.25 mm, ever-so-slight roll that many people would not notice

Total weight: 19.3 oz with either shaft

Wrap: Black stacked leather (sure was a great choice on this one!)

Pin: 5/16 14 SS piloted

Price is $SOLD and includes insured shipping to CONUS, only.

NO TRADES please as I am trying to thin the herd, not add. To that end, there will be other items up for sale so please keep your eyes peeled for my other offerings.

Any questions can be posted to the thread but in case I do not respond in a timely fashion, you may want to pm me (I intend to have a few sales going on simultaneouslyly).

THIS COULD BE YOUR NEXT GREAT PLAYER!

I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. Thanks for stopping by.

What An Absolute Beauty of a Scruggs,,,NIce 4 Ptr.

This cue has sizzle and screams to be purchased....unfortumately it also has shafts which are much smaller than I prefer to play with...otherwise I'd be telling you to wrap this baby up.........Matt

Hi Matt;

There's always the possibility to find another shaft more to your specs. Simple silver ring design makes that much less complicated.

Here's $50.00 off toward that goal if it makes the deal look a little sweeter.

Price is now $sold. incl insured shipping to CONUS.

I will adjust my original post to reflect this change.

Thanks for the nice words.

Best,

Looking Around Now For A Scruggs Shaft

Brian,

I meant what I said about what a greta beauty this cue is. GkLoop on the forumn also has a beautiful Scruggs listed and he and I have discussed his cue. The shaft sizes aren't the reaosn I didn't buy his cue and I really do admire and desire it like yours. Only 1 of the 2 shafts are original and the original shaft has some taper roll which is described as slight but until the nuyer gets the cue, it's hard to pass judgement on the severity. And of course we discussed having anotehr shaft made by someone like Corey Barnhart or Mike Frey.

I've been debating doing that because I really wanted a cue with straight original shafts in the 12.75 -13mm range which is kinda hard to find. A lot of folks apparently like to play with shafts on the lower end of the 12mm spectrum than the higher end which I prefer to use. In any event, that's the only reason I'm not presenting you with an offer right now which was the same reason with Gkloop's cue.

I'm just a stubborn ole fool I guess but I'm working on that and if I become more flexible on my shaft requirements, or expectations might be a better way to express it, I'll probably be buying both your cue & Gkloop's because they are really gorgeous looking cues. In fact, if you doa search under Gkloop, youir find my posting comments praising his cue and poking fun at myself for being such a tight ass.

I do hope someone looks at your cue the very next time and realizes what a beauty of a Scruggs cue this is and buys it becaause it has striking looks....WOW!......Matt

Bump With Price Reduction...

In the spirit of making faster sales, I am going to be agressively reducing the prices on my items for sale, including this terrific TS cue.

It may be every bump, it may be every other bump, but make no mistake, my stuff is getting cheaper.

So help me to get-r-done guys.

I'll make this a $75 reduction so the price will now be $sold and still includes insured shipping to CONUS, only. I will adjust the op to reflect this change.

If you wait too long wondering how many of these price reduction bumps will it take before a fellow az'er pulls the trigger, you may regret it. DON'T be that guy! :D  :D

Good luck to all and thank you for having a look.

I know this cue.

This was my player for a number of years before I had to swap it out as part of a deal for my current Southwest. I cannot begin to tell you how nice this cue plays. Paul Allers (Oak Harbor, WA cuemaker) did the stack wrap for me and really did a nice job on it. I wish I had the financial wherewithal to bring it back home.
Good luck with the sale. The price is more than nice. Someone is going to get a very nice cue that will make them proud.
