I only got to make it up for the first 4 days this past DCC, next year I am hoping that I will be able to stay for the whole event, because it was extremely hard to leave Tuesday morning, knowing all that action was going on and all of the great tournament matches that were getting ready to start back up that morning.

I've been fortunate... even though I had never been, when I planned my first trip, I planned to be there for the whole thing. I had a feeling it was one of those places that you couldn't leave early. I usually arrive at tournaments later in the week so that I only have to take one or two days off and even that annoys me. I don't think I could miss a minute of Derby. Knowing that most arrive on wed/Thur and I don't get there until Fri is hard enough to deal with. I hate to miss a thing... that's why it's so hard for me to go to sleep while I'm there. If you sleep, you're going to miss something.

I pledge to bring all the Corona that I can drink.

I just wanted to say it was nice meeting you at the DCC, Timberly. Just one question, how did you manage to be in every room at the same time? I saw you everywhere .

Those are the correct dates. The old DCC site had them listed on the main page but the new one doesn't. I searched the new site for dates and couldn't find them. They're very possibly there and I missed them.

For those of you planning on going next yr, or considering it, you should join the DCC website. They'll email you as soon as the seating tickets and players passes go on sale. The site is www.dcctickets.com.

Dave, it was a pleasure meeting you also. Thank you for introducing yourself. As for seeing me everywhere....It could be one of two things... Considering there's so much going, I tend to roam around checking out different area's to see what's going on. The other option is that I was stalking you.

I'm definitely gonna try and make it next year. I'm pretty sure the spring semester won't start until after that, which would work. I've heard so many good things about it here, it sounds like it's definitely worth the price of admission.
