So far, so good, let's see how it handles a load.

With the forums, (and the ads) on a new server. I hope they will run smoother and the rest of the site will run smoother without them dragging the server down.

Mike

Thanks

great here in NY

Hey Mike... everything is running great and real smooth and quick. thanks for putting out such a great site and its free to boot. maybe you ought to start charging a couple of bucks a year to be a member to help off set your expenses.:D .. just a thought....it would still be worth it..:D ...............mike

Just wanted to add a note of thanks for setting up the forum on a new platform for us posters!

Aside from the time being off a bit, though, there is a little glitch to work out in that when I posted in an Earl thread a minute ago, it placed my post in the MIDDLE of the thread as opposed to the LAST post.

Not complaining, though, just wanted to bring it to your attention so that maybe you can tweak the new forum to be the best that it can be. :)

I love this place!:p

Same thing happened to me. Let's see if this one is posted at the end.

LOL. Well, I saw your name, JJinFLA, as the LAST poster to this thread when I looked at it in the Main Forum. However, when I pulled up the thread, instead of being on Page 2 of the thread, you are in the middle of Page 1!:D

It's definitely a TIME thingie. Just a guess on my part, but I think it will work itself out today. What happened -- I think -- is that some posters' current TIMES were 4 to 5 hours later than ours. So, the forum wanting to place things in chronological order, put my post and your post in the middle of the thread.

I think it will work itself out today and we will all be on the same time.

Posting problem

Mike, when I post now, my posts keep getting put before posts that were up before mine. A post that I would be replying to would show up after mine when I post my message. Is this a glitch in the server? I think it's cause they are from different time zones, so the server might think they posted after me.

edit: I posted this WAY after you posted your message below me

Just as an FYI, the forum move was not the cause of the downtime. The down time was the cause of the forum move.

I agree, I think everyone should start paying me a couple of bucks a year to be a member. Oh, did I get that wrong?
