Fouls don't count, 1pocket. How much is it worth?

Thanks guys

Always good to get some PRODUCTIVE feedback! I'm likely gonna play something similar to this game but I'm not sure just what yet. It'll prob be more like 9-5 and my fouls don't count. Anyway, I was kinda thinking that all along but we'll see.

Or take that 9 -7 but ask that he has to play 4 and safe or 4 and stop. That will assure you of him having to go at least 3 innings. (ask for the 4 and stop first, if he says no, ask for the 4 and safe.)

Pretty good rule of thumb is if an unusual spot is someone else's idea, it's a trap. See spidey's post on playing a great 1p player getting an extra side pocket as a spot.

It seems to me like the instant you get placed in the standard 1p safety dugout... near your own hole... there's no intentional foul you can take that helps you. You can kick softly into the opposite side of the stack and hope to pop balls onto your side, but there's a pretty severe danger of selling out unless your kicking is at a level where you can hit one specific side of the object ball.

I played that spot

If you have not played that way you will not see all of the opportunities to use it. you will play mostly like normal and only use the spot when necessary like trying to get out of a bad place. Also depends on if you are playing a stronger shooter or mover and how well they escape the bad places you put them. I usually got about 11-6 from him and then tried 9-7 and my fouls don't count. I lost the first few times but will play it now anytime. I shoot like shit though and move ok.

Yeah I can see how I might overlook some good spots to use it. One word of caution a knowledgeable friend of mine said is to make sure you're still keeping balls near your hole cuz he's seen some guys play getting that and they quit playing offense which of course is a big-no-no.

Since its basically been said already its like this
.If u put a good player in a good safe he will just shoot out of it..That's why he is a good player..Yes it is a big spot but it is a totally different game..If u know how when and how to use it it is huge..If u don't..well see jumpinjoe for exhibit A.

Lmao. It was bound to happen
