looking in my wood stack and found these, I cut these sometimes in the last 10 years, sanded and put on sealer, but forgot to mark them. they are both cut to size. the dark one weights 9.3 oz the liter color 9.6.

Looks like tulip wood by the pics...I have also seen bubinga that looks similar.

looks like bubinga to me Brazilian cherry has deeper and longer open grain my opinion
I don't remember who it is, but there is someone quite knowledgeable that is on here often that can tell from the end grain. I'm not that good. I was thinking bubinga for one of them. Neither looks like any tulipwood I've ever seen but could just be a dark piece.
