Personally I like this cue. Beautiful butt sleeve and figure in the Kingwood. With a LP Custom Cue and Ron Thomas Case on order, I just can't justify the purchase. I had the pleasure of watching the Tony Ellin play Maggots at a local tournament years ago. Impressive match. For the price, leather wrap, and shipping I think it's a great price-point for a cue from a maker with some history. A local knowledgeable cue collector told me that Whitey is in the Blue Book. Probably would be a great everyday player. Wish it had a piloted joint, and is it the photo or does the leather wrap appear long than most?
